Safeguarding Information
At Arden Academy, the safety and well-being of our students are our highest priorities. We are dedicated to providing a secure and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Our safeguarding policies and procedures are robust and comprehensive, ensuring that all members of our community are protected from harm.
We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where students feel valued, respected, and protected. This includes maintaining secure premises and promoting a culture of vigilance.
Prevention is at the heart of our safeguarding approach. We implement proactive measures to reduce risks and prevent harm, including rigorous staff training and clear policies on acceptable behaviour.
Recognising the signs of potential harm early allows us to intervene swiftly and effectively. We encourage all staff, students, and parents to report concerns promptly to ensure timely support.
Safeguarding encompasses not only protecting students from physical harm but also promoting their mental and emotional well-being. We provide resources and support to help students cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenges.
We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility. We work closely with parents and carers, ensuring they are informed and involved in safeguarding issues and understand our policies and procedures.
Our safeguarding policies comply with the latest statutory guidance, including the Department for Education’s “Keeping Children Safe in Education” framework. This ensures that our practices are up-to-date and effective.
