KS3 Design and Technology
Our Curriculum map for KS3 Design & Technology is layed out a little differently than for other subjects. Over the course of the year all students will study four specialisms - as listed below.
Two classes start on one of the specialist areas and then move onto another. The other ‘pairs’ of classes start on a different specialism, then move on to a different one later. This enables everyone to access the specialist rooms and facilities that are available over the course of the academic year.
The assessed tasks in KS3 are based around Knowledge, Design and Make for all four specialisms.
