ARDEN IN TOP 100 PERFORMING SCHOOLS
Arden is delighted to have received a letter from the Rt Hon David Laws MP, the Secretary of State for Schools congratulating Arden on the excellent Key Stage 4 examination results achieved in 2013. It acknowledges Arden's position in the top 100 non-selective state schools in the country based on pupils achieving five or more A*-C grade GCSEs including English and Mathematics.
Arden's results in terms of the progress made by students receiving Pupil Premium puts us amongst the top 108 schools in the country. Pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools to raise the attainment of vulnerable pupils, although Arden has only a small number of such pupils, we are delighted to have this achievement recognised.
