Arden UK champions for the second year
Another successful year for our students who out-performed the excellent results they achieved in 2013...
The Language Perfect competition originated in New Zealand but has grown to accommodate schools across the globe. Students earn points by answering questions correctly and by revisiting vocabulary to test their learning. Over 1000 schools and 300,000 students from around the compete for awards and prizes
Arden was first out of 76 schools in the UK!
In 2014 we have achieved 3 million points and in the World Championships we scored 280,420 points (231,469 points in 2013)
We were 37th globally out of 1151 schools (in 2013 we were 43rd). We were first in the UK for German, French, Italian, Indonesian Maori! and Chinese. Seven of our students were in the top 20 for the UK (four in 2013). Lauren Penny was second for the whole of the UK.
In German, Arden was fifteenth globally out of 878 schools.
We achieved:

- 23 Bronze Award Winners
- 23 Credit Awards
- Lauren Penny (9N, Aylward) was second in the UK and 47th globally with 21,110 points
- Olivia Penny (7E, Fleming) was fifth in the UK and 133th globally
- Max Nagra (8D, Eliot) was ninth in the UK
- Annabelle Seaward (10S, Baird) was twelfth in the UK
- Shirin Anari (9N, Aylward) was sixtheenth in the UK.
- Anna Kirk (8H, Fleming) was nineteenth in the UK.
