Cheque for Knowle FC
We were delighted to hand over a cheque to Mr Dave Sykes from Knowle Football Club for just under £3000 to help towards the cost of replacing the clubhouse roof which was blown off during Storm Doris back in March. The money was raised on a designated charity day held on Friday 5th May. Students enjoyed a ‘non-uniform’ day when they were allowed to wear clothes with a sporting theme. In addition to the fund raising, Arden also allowed the Knowle FC junior teams the chance to continue playing their matches on their school field after the damage caused at the club by the storm.
