Support for Marie Curie
Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal has been raising awareness and funds since 1986. Every March, millions of people across the UK show their support by giving a donation to wear a daffodil pin. However Joshua Reilly in Year 7 delighted us all by going that extra mile...
'Hello my name is Josh and I have been raising money for charity. With my two sisters we raised £75 in total from selling old toys and clothes at a car boot sale in Birmingham. I chose to donate my share to Marie Curie because someone close to me had cancer last year and is still recovering. I hope that one day there will be a cure for cancer which can give people a longer life'.
We're sure you'll agree he is a wonderful young man and a credit to Arden.
