World Book Day 2016
World Book Day 2016 gave Arden staff an opportunity to dress as book-themed characters for the day. There were a variety of characters on view: Queen of Hearts, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, Captain Hook, Mary Poppins, a bare-footed Hobbit and Biggles. The students had a number of quizzes they could take part in, one of which was identifying the first lines of famous novels. World Book Day tokens have been available for students from Years 7, 8 & 9 (students from Years 10 & 11 can pick one up from the Library if they would like one).
We will also be launching an exciting reading challenge in the very near future...more details of which will be given to students very soon! There will be prizes for individual students, the most successful form and an opportunity to earn house points!
