Key Stage 3
At Key Stage 3 we feel it is important to develop practical and exam skills needed later on in their learning journey but also to capture their enthusiasm and passion from science from an early age so they engage with the core subject when they study it for GCSE. We therefore deliver our Key Stage 3 content through overarching big picture themes to try and link science to real life scenarios and practical applications.
Year 7
In year 7 pupils will study 3 themes, 1 each term, that will have practical and exam skills embedded with them.
Year 8
In year 8 pupils will study a further 3 different themes, 1 each term, that will have practical and exam skills embedded with them.
