GCSE Results – Summer 2021
We are delighted with the performance of our Year 11 students in their GCSEs. We are exceptionally proud of how this cohort of students has navigated the most demanding and turbulent two years of GCSE study. The resilience, commitment and flexibility that they have shown is exceptional and should be something that every student and parent should be incredibly proud of.
The hard work of our staff and students, over the course of the last two years and particularly over the last few months as we have worked together to assess students, has been nothing short of remarkable.
The outcomes of this cohort are excellent and reflect their exemplary attitude to school and education over the last five years. We are delighted to have maintained our truly excellent levels of attainment and progress that continue to be in line with our historical high performance and are significantly above national averages.
Individually we have so many personal triumphs to celebrate that we cannot mention all by name. It is also important to recognise that this year, more so than ever, there is a very important and very personal story behind each set of grades. We have all faced great challenge over the last two years, each of us experiencing something different to each other. For all of our students we urge you to reflect on that journey and view your achievements in your GCSEs with great pride.
We are very pleased to welcome back 120 students who will return to us for A Levels in September. We wish all of our students all of our very best wishes as they move onto their chosen destinations and courses.
