Rotary Young Writers Competition
This year has been particularly successful for Arden as our talented writers managed to make a clean sweep of the prizes in the Rotary Young Writers Competition. However Lucy Jones also went on to become the winner of the national competition beating submissions from over 1800 other Rotary clubs. It is an amazing achievement, well done Lucy!

The following comments are from the Rotary Club website:
14-year-old Lucy Jones, who was nominated by the Rotary Club of Knowle & District, went home with the Young Writer title in the senior category after submitting what the judges described as a beautifully descriptive story about the seasons.
Peter Davey, President of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland, commented: “To be able to write passionately and from the heart is a real gift, and each winner was able to tell their story in a unique way. The quality of the entries was outstanding and I’d like congratulate Isabella, Ella and Lucy on their wins.”
